The Spray Hill Lumberjack Workout
Warm up for 10 - 15 mins - easy jogging. 4 x 90s hard uphill with 2 mins easy jogging between reps. Run 10 mins tempo Jog easy x 5 mins Repeat the whole thing 1 more time. Cool down jog
Dirtbags! Tomorrow's workout will be one we last did in 2021 - The Lumberjack Workout!
Seeing as Bill Warren Pub Night is back on again tomorrow, I've modified this one a touch to make it hill compatible!
We'll meet at the Nordic Centre again - 6PM - and do the workout on my favorite Spray Hill.
The Lumberjack workout goes something like this!
Warm up for 10 - 15 mins - easy jogging.
4 x 90s hard uphill with 2 mins easy jogging between reps.
Run 10 mins tempo (comfortably hard 6-7/10) - I propose we do 7 mins up, 3 mins down (ouch!!)
Jog easy x 5 mins
Repeat the whole thing 1 more time.
Cool down jog
