The 30-90 FARTLEK

OK - Dirtbags!

The weather is once again thwarting my precision planning!

So here's my thought - let's plan to meet up at Canmore Nordic Centre tomorrow - usual spot - and we will plan to do our workout on the forebay.

We'll warm up for about 10 mins with a few strides and then jump into the 30-90 fartlek.

Essentially, you'll run hard for 30s, then run easy for 90s.

Without any rest we'll just repeat this until we've done 50 mins of continuous running (25 reps).

We'll run back and forth along the forebay until we are done.

I imagine we'll naturally end up running in small groups at similar paces, getting a bit spread out.

NOW, if the weather completely craps out and we have four feet of snow, I may change this, but let's plan to meet at the Nordic Centre 6PM and it will be a gameday decision!
