- 400m @ marathon pace
- 30s rest
- 400m @ half marathon pace
- 30s rest
- 400m @ 10km pace
- 30s rest
- 400m @ 5km pace
Hey folks - guess what! It's Thursday tomorrow and it is looking pretty balmy out there!
Let's meet at 6PM at the Nordic Centre and we'll do the workout on the forebay.
It's been over 3 years since we did something like this one......
It's called "Progression 400s"
So we basically run sets of 4 x 400m with short rest.
The idea is:
- 400m @ marathon pace
- 30s rest - 400m @ half marathon pace
- 30s rest
- 400m @ 10km pace
- 30s rest - 400m @ 5km pace
We will then jog easily for a few minutes, regroup, then go again, for an, as yet undetermined, number of sets!
