ONE MILE HILL
1 mile uphill x 4 Jog down recovery

Dirtbags! I don't know how many requests I've had for this one, but here it is, the one you've all (well maybe not all of you - ahem, Kylie) been waiting for!
Back by popular demand - ONE MILE HILL !!
So tomorrow, you'll need to head out a bit earlier if you're coming from Canmore.
Meet at the Mt Allan trailhead above Deadman's flats (https://maps.app.goo.gl/apGpxj18Vrqv7C946)
Come off at the Deadman's Flats turnoff and head up hill (south) all the way to the top of the road and the parking lot. It's obvious if you haven't been there before.
Meet at 6PM and we'll jog down the road to the cattle grid. From there it is one mile back uphill to the very top of the Banff Gate Mountain resort.
The fast folks up front will turn around at the top and sweep up any stragglers on the way back down.
The plan is 4 laps - four 1 mile climbs - so that is 8 miles of running if you complete each lap, and this one usually takes us around 90 minutes.
By this point, we'll have worked up a big thirst, and I suspect a few of us may have packed some refreshments in our vehicles to be consumed in the parking lot afterwards.
Bring a beverage if you expect to be thirsty .....
On a nice evening it really is a beautiful spot.
See you there tomorrow, 6PM, and maybe carpool if you can!
