The entire workout will be above the first bridge with the 'ups' being at 90%, and the remainder of each loop at a more moderate 70-75%. Continuous loops, no rest. 1 hour.
Dirtbags! Tomorrow let's do some Cougar Creek Fartleks!
The last time we did this was way back in 2019.
Essentially it's a looped continuous style workout at a moderate pace with a few quicker efforts on each loop.
So we will meet 6pm at the Cougar Creek trailhead - usual spot - at 6pm.
The entire workout will be above the first bridge with the 'ups' being at 90%, and the remainder of each loop at a more moderate 70-75%. Continuous loops, no rest. 1 hour.
We'll be spread out but never too far apart. Let's aim for about 10-12 laps total.
I believe the Iron Goat or Sheepdog will be happy to alleviate our thirsts afterwards.
Everyone is welcome!! This is a good one if you're a newbie as you can go at whatever pace you are comfortable with and never be too far from the rest of the runners as its multiple short loops.
A headlamp will be essential and perhaps microspikes. If anyone has been there in the last 24 hours please post whether spikes are needed.
