The "Reverse Fibonacci Progression Run"
13mins 8mins 5mins 3mins 2mins 1mins
Tomorrow's workout is a great one, courtesy of none other than Elizabeth Halleran!
In mathematics, the Fibonacci sequence is a sequence in which each element is the sum of the two elements that precede it. Now I'm not sure if anyone has ever put together a reverse Fibonacci progression run, but that's what Liz has come up with for tomorrow!

I propose we meet at the bottom of Benchlands trail, usual spot by the jump park. 6PM sharp!
We'll jog on over towards Palliser and we'll do the workout on the Harvey Heights road/paved path.
The Reverse Fibonacci Progression will go like this:
13mins
8mins
5mins
3mins
2mins
1mins
There will be 2 mins recovery between each effort.
The aim is to do the first 13 min effort at moderate intensity, then increase the effort with each progression.
I have not been able to determine if the Rate of Perceived Exertion should also follow a similar Fibonacci progression, but we can ask Liz 🤣.
Fun times!
See you all tomorrow at 6PM, Benchlands.
