The Hilly 5/4/3/2/1 WORKOUT
A mix of uphill and downhill intensity!
OK Dirtbags! It's about time we hit my favorite hill again! It's been a while, and there's really nothing quite like a bit of intensity in the dark on Canmore's best hill.
I propose we meet at the Grassi Lakes parking lot for a change, 6PM sharp.
We'll get in a reasonable warm up, ending up at our usual spot at the bottom of the Spray hill.
I want to get in a mix of both uphill and downhill intensity so here's the plan:
'The Hilly 5/4/3/2/1 WORKOUT'
SET 1
5 mins hard uphill
4 mins easy downhill
3 mins hard uphill
2 mins easy downhill
1 min hard uphill
REGROUP - we'll then jog very easy up the gap for about 10 mins
Set 2
5 mins hard downhill
4 mins easy uphill
3 mins hard downhill
2 mins easy uphill
1 min hard downhill
This should put us somewhere back near our cars (I'm hoping 🤣)
