The Cougar Creek Fartlek

4 blocks of 10 mins, run at a steady (moderate) pace, but with a twist. Every 2 minutes we'll pick the pace up for 30 secs, then settle back in to our steady pace for the next 2 mins. After 10 mins we'll take a couple of minutes rest, regroup some, then go again.

Dirtbags! It's our second last outing for 2024 tomorrow. It's looking to me like it may be a tad chilly and the trails are pure death, so I'm going to suggest we stick to some pavement tomorrow, and keep things moving along!

So let's meet at the bottom of Benchlands trail, 6PM.

We'll warm up with an easy jog on up to our usual Cougar creek loop, which should be mostly dry.

Here's the workout!

We'll aim for 4 blocks of 10 mins, then back down Benchlands to finish.

Wrap up warm, and I'm sure we'll be heading out for a beverage afterwards!
