Forebay 1200 progressions

Woohoo - it's almost Thursday folks! Its looking like another balmy evening out there tomorrow, so here's the plan.

Meet at 6PM at the Nordic Centre. Let's meet under the big flag in the main parking lot - as our usual spot was closed last time.

We will jog on out to the forebay - it was in excellent shape this weekend - and mostly snow/ice free except for a couple of short sections.

For the workout we are going to do a variation on Forebay 400s. We last did this one in 2019!!

After our warm up jog we'll do a 1.2 km progression - every 400m you pick up your pace - we'll mark the 400m during our warmup on the forebay.

We'll regroup, jog for 2 or 3 mins, then repeat the progression.

We'll shoot for 6 sets. So that's 1200m x 6 with 2-3 mins active recovery between sets.

The effort will be hard, harder, hardest.

Beer will be served at the Wood, no doubt! See you al tomorrow!
