Dirtbags! Well summer is definitely here and a few of us are trying to get into peak shape for some serious racing in a few weeks.

One of my favorite workouts for finding some race form is the Lumberjack. It goes a bit like this:

4 x 90s hard (2 mins easy jogging)
10 mins tempo
5 mins easy recovery running
Repeat the 4 x 90s and the 10 min tempo

The Nordic Centre is a bit busy I hear for some sort of bicycling event (what the heck is that?), so we'll meet there but jog on over to the forebay for the workout.

For the 10 min tempo we'll do 5 mins out, 5 mins back, so we won't get too spread out.

Afterwards, it's Pub Night at Bill Warren, and Salomon will be having a sample sale! I hear there are deals to be had.

So let's meet at 6PM in the dirt lot nearest to the main road (first dirt lot on the left as you enter CNC). Hope to see a big group for a fun evening!
