5 x 30s uphill hard, with walk down recovery. 5 mins steady uphill, with jog down recovery. 5 x 30s hard uphill. 3 x 2 mins uphill.

Dirtbags! Tomorrow is the opening night of Bill Warren Pub night, so let's do our workout as near to that as possible!


Meet 6PM at the Nordic Centre - usual spot.

For the workout I am going to continue the theme of blended workouts, which I really like right now. These stress all the systems and will be great if you are targeting some summer races (or the Beer Mile), with all the varying intensities that come into play during trail races. And even if not, you'll definitely come out stronger!


After a short warm up and a few strides, we'll start with:


5 x 30s uphill hard, with walk down recovery.


After a short break we will do 5 mins steady uphill, with jog down recovery.


We'll then do another 5 x 30s hard uphill, then finish with 3 x 2 mins uphill.


After all this you will definitely be thirsty, so we'll head on over to Bill's.


All abilities are welcome. Everyone goes at a pace they are comfortable with and we will be regrouping after every single hard effort, so this is a very sociable run! Come on out if you've been sitting on the fence.
