Daniel's Cruise Intervals! 6 x 5 mins (1 min rest)

Dirtbags! It's a bit sloppy out there but the paved trail out towards Harvey Heights is in good shape (or at least it was last time I looked!)

So dust off your road shoes, and let's meet at the bottom of Benchlands, by the jump park, 6PM sharp!

For the workout, we are going to do Workout #1 - ie the very first workout we ever did!

I think there were maybe 6 of us! It's a bit of a classic in my book, a classic Jack Daniels workout - not too quick, not too slow! Cruise intervals with short rest, and guaranteed to raise your lactate threshold!

So we'll get in a good warm up then do 6 x 5 mins with 1 min recoveries.

The recovery is intentionally short, and will ensure you're not hitting the rocket boosters.

The plan will be to do 3 of the efforts out towards Harvey Heights, and 3 of the efforts headed back. We will likely get pretty spread out, but if you pace it perfectly, we'll all be back together at the end!

The efforts should be run at about 60 minute pace, and should not feel too forced. Bring your lactate meter if you want to check the effort level at the end ;-)
