The Legacy Broken Fartlek

Dirtbags! Tomorrow we have some sweet Hoka demos for you to try on the run - pick your poison - Tecton X3 (carbon trail shoe) or the Mach X2 (plated rockered every day road shoe). The tectons are pretty great on pavement too, in my opinion.

So we'll be running from Strides - 6PM sharp. I'd suggest get there 15 or 20 mins early to nab some demo shoes.

For the workout, I'm thinking we hit the Legacy trail (there are just a few small avoidable snow patches on there right now) but it is in great shape overall.

Here's the workout which hits a range of intensities.

  • 15 min warm up
  • 5 x 2 mins (1 min recovery)
  • Easy jogging recovery/regroup
  • 5 x 1 min (1 min recovery)
  • Easy jogging recovery/regroup
  • 5 x 30s (1 min recovery)
  • Easy jogging recovery/regroup
  • Beer!
